Refine a blunt or recessed chin for a more tapered, V-shaped jawline.
Treatment Information
Even with striking, well-defined facial features, a blunt chin can make it harder to achieve a refined appearance. Because the chin is a key element of facial shape, treatment considers individual facial proportions, chin shape, and whether the mouth protrudes to help create a more refined look. At Daybeau, chin filler is also paired with Botox for chin dimpling to help maintain a smooth chin contour longer.
Intended Benefits
A refined, V-shaped facial contour
Improved appearance of a recessed chin
Improved appearance of a protruding mouth
Precautions
As an injectable treatment, it causes bruising, swelling, and pain that may last 1–2 weeks.
Avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area, as this may alter its shape.
To help prevent inflammation, avoid alcohol, smoking, and saunas, and take your prescribed antibiotics. (Tell the clinic in advance if you have any medication allergies.)
If you notice skin color changes, severe pain, redness, or blisters in the treated area immediately after treatment, return to the clinic right away for care.
